Role Mandate:

In the current context of the EUROMASTER group and EBS transformation, the Lean specialist is responsible for deploying a lean management culture in Euromaster administration and orchestrates the organization’s efforts to cut down waste and improve efficiency. 

To determine the current conditions, the Lean specialist observes daily operations and management styles, assess company financial records, and work with leaders, managers and business experts to identify opportunities for improvement in accordance with the company’s objectives and ambitions.

He / She will prepare and lead the rollout of Lean methodology and mindset within the organization, will optimize  support processes (Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Order to Cash, Data Management) will run major initiatives and projects related to digitalization & automation. He/She will ensure standards and governance, by introducing innovation and best practices, and drive organizational and mindset change. He/she will report his results with the relevant KPIs to the relevant stakeholders. 

He / She will engage and team up with senior managers, team leaders, key business stakeholders, operational subject matter experts to achieve the objectives.

    Key responsabilities:

    • Analyse current work practices to identify areas for improvement and educate/coach as to how to improve business.
    • Bring expertise and deploy appropriate methodologies to problem solving in the resolution of complex or transverse problems. Performing root cause analysis, resolve problems and support teams.
    • Process mapping, value stream mapping, identifying inefficiencies in productivity. and recommend to management changes that can cut waste procedures.
    • Train and educate employees in all aspects of lean six sigma related to Services.
    • Coach and deploy and learn Lean principles in the business services environment and deploying Lean Management.
    • Leverage Michelin Group resources (methods, tools and teams).
    • Establish work measurement programs and analyze work samples to develop labor utilization standards.
    • Animate key process optimization workshops and be a PMO for ensuring executions of the action plan.
    • Sort and guide Lean teams to achieve results and meet project goals.
    • Develop and maintain a 3 year Lean plan and audit regular lean activities.
    • Define and allocate necessary resources.
    • Document Lean efforts through selected metrics and photographs.
    • Develop a collective lean tool box and assure instruments are available to lean project participants.
    • Support and challenge departments to execute Lean processes and ensure efficiencies.
    • Report to the relevant stakeholders the quality and performance. Clearly communicate business value, project stats and issues to business leadership and business sponsors.
    • Manage the alignment of the service delivery strategy with the business strategy and IS/IT functions within EBS and Euromaster group.

    Skills and Attributes Requirements:

    • Holds Green or Black  Belt Lean / Six Sigma related certifications and demonstrated practical experience.
    • Demonstrate performance excellence behaviours within the business and performance excellence.
    • Has a track record in running business optimization projects. 
    • Skillful animator of workshops, with strong influencing capabilities to drive action and positive outcomes.
    • Has worked in an international environment, in different cultures and geographies.
    • Has a strong track record in process re-engineering and successfully led process change optimization, simplification and harmonization, successfully completed mid and large initiatives and projects.
    • Good understanding of Finance and non-Finance business processes, dependencies and interfaces.
    • Customer focus, problem-solving abilities.
    • Analytical thinking, creativity and open-mindedness.
    • Ability to overcome challenges in a remote, dispersed and multi-cultural organization to ensure positive interactions.
