Role Mandate:

In the current context of the EUROMASTER group and EBS transformations, the Automation Specialist will be in charge of conducting the automation of our existing and future activities and processes, towards growing them into qualitative, impactful and best in class business support solutions for service centers and Euromaster’s customers. He / She will be a member of a high performing function of 10 to 15 highly skilled experts, in charge of leading and implementing harmonization & standardization of support processes (Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Data Management, Order to Cash), and in charge of running major initiative and projects related to digitalization & automation.

He / She will engage and team up with the Lean Specialist, senior managers, team leaders, key business stakeholders, operational subject matter experts and with Support functions representatives towards defining and deploying standard, lean and digitized processes in EBS and Euromaster, with the scope of helping EBS become the center of excellence driving innovation in business support services.

He / She will analyze science, engineering, business and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex processes. 

He / She will develop and implement a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software; apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets; visualize, interpret, and report data findings.

He / She will use its experience and expertise in software development, computer assembling, configuring and debugging, project management, web design and servers configuration towards driving automation in EBS and Euromaster.

    Key responsabilities:

    • Understand the current state, identify and drive needed automation.
    • Benchmark to innovate and  improve future processes and deployments. 
    • Ensure that all implementations of automated tools meet the requirements prescribed through the effective implementation or use of approved processes, methodologies and deliverables.
    • Justify the business case of their proposals and follow up and measure the added value apported
    • Define, coordinate and implement automation and digitization in order to increase maturity in efficiency and ensure innovation.
    • Establish solid and trustful relationships with all the colleagues. Engage the right people and thoroughly monitor the progress of the automation initiatives. 
    • Analyze, manipulate, process and automate large sets of data.
    • Apply sampling techniques to determine groups to be surveyed or use complete enumeration methods.
    • Clean and manipulate raw data using appropriate software.
    • Collaborate with system architects, software architects, design analysts, and others to understand business or industry requirements.
    • Develop data models for applications, metadata tables, views or related database structures.
    • Set up database clusters, backup, or recovery processes.
    • Expand or modify systems to serve new purposes or improve workflow.
    • Use the computer in the analysis and solution of business problems.
    • Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles.
    • Perform data analysis and automation.
    • Perform research and development of new technologies related to data relationship analysis and storing and retrieving data/information.
    • Perform system specific requirements analysis, design, development, implementation and test database applications.
    • Perform research, analysis and management of specific data.

    Skills and Attributes Requirements:

    • Strong and deep understanding of processes, systems and tools.
    • Has worked in an international environment, in different cultures and geographies.
    • Has a strong track record in process re-engineering and successfully led process change optimization, simplification and harmonization, successfully completed mid and large initiatives and projects.
    • Good understanding of Finance and non-Finance business process, dependencies and interfaces.
    • Significant background in people, project and resource management.
    • Ability to overcome challenges in a remote, dispersed and multi-cultural organization to ensure positive interactions.
    • Technical skills: Database user interface and query software, Development environment software, Object or component oriented development software, Program testing software, Web platform development software, Database management system software,,, Metadata management software, Web platform development software.
    • Active listening, critical thinking, judgement and making decisions
    • Systems analytics, complex problem solving
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
